Department Description

• develops, distributes, markets and maintains evidence-based information, prevention and treatment resources to AADAC staff, Albertans and stakeholders outside Alberta via print, web and other media (e.g., video, audio, CD, DVD)
• publishes and distributes the AADAC newsletter Developments to health professionals and other stakeholders
• supports awareness of addictions issues and AADAC services by managing display systems and providing support materials to AADAC offices
• oversees the application of information and graphic standards to ensure AADAC resources reflect current research and best practices
• provides consultation to other AADAC departments on appropriate format, design, style and audience for new resources
• promotes AADAC as the key source of addiction information, prevention and treatment services in Alberta
