While AADAC leads the Alberta Tobacco Reduction Strategy (ATRS), strategic alliance with government ministries, regional health authorities, schools, municipalities, post-secondary institutions, community groups, and health and community stakeholder organizations ensures successful implementation.
Each year AADAC provides grant money to local, regional and provincial projects that support the ATRS objectives in the area of prevention and education, tobacco reduction and cessation, and protection from second-hand smoke.
Call for Applications
This year, priority will be given to projects that support the implementation of Bill 45, Smoke-Free Places (Tobacco Reduction) Amendment Act 2007.
Application deadline is Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 4:30 p.m.
