While AADAC leads the Alberta Tobacco Reduction Strategy (ATRS), strategic alliance with government ministries, regional health authorities, schools, municipalities, post-secondary institutions, community groups, and health and community stakeholder organizations ensures successful implementation.
Each year AADAC provides grant money to local, regional and provincial projects that support the ATRS objectives in the area of prevention and education, tobacco reduction and cessation, and protection from second-hand smoke.
For current projects and grant applications check the Getting Funding > Tobacco Reduction Projects section of this website.
